Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do I need an appointment?

We recommend scheduling an appointment so we can set aside time to discuss your situation and answer your questions. When you call or email, please expect us to schedule a time to speak.

  • How much does an initial consultation cost?

Nothing. McGreevy Law offers free consultations for personal injury matters.

  • What should I bring to my consultation?

If you have documents related to your case—such as an accident report, photographs, insurance information, or medical records—you are welcome to bring them. If you don't have everything yet, that's okay.

The first conversation is simply an opportunity to talk through what happened. We do recommend, however, that you bring a copy of your driver’s license and any applicable insurance cards to any in-person meeting.

  • How quickly should I contact an attorney?

While every case is different, there are deadlines that apply to personal injury claims. Contacting an attorney sooner can help you both preserve your claims and obtain a better understanding of your options and any applicable timelines.

  • What if I'm not sure I have a case?

That's okay. Many people contact us before they know whether they have a legal claim. We'll listen to what happened, ask a few questions, and help you get a clearer sense of where things stand.
